GW Price Ltd is committed to a sustainable future. With a clear vision to combat climate change, the company has set an ambitious target to achieve net-zero emissions by 2050. To achieve this goal, GW Price is implementing a comprehensive sustainability strategy. This strategy includes adopting energy-efficient technologies, reducing waste, and implementing eco-friendly packaging solutions. They are also working closely with their farmers and suppliers to promote sustainable farming practices and minimize carbon footprints throughout the supply chain. By investing in renewable energy sources, optimizing transportation, and continuously monitoring their environmental impact.

Baseline Emissions Footprint

Baseline emissions are a record of the greenhouse gases that have been produced in the past and were produced prior to the introduction of any strategies to reduce emissions.

Baseline emissions are the reference point against which emissions reduction can be measured.

Emissions Reduction Targets

In order to continue our progress to achieving Net Zero, we have adopted the following carbon reduction targets. We started collecting dat from 2023.

Carbon Reduction Projects

GW Price is taking proactive steps to reduce their carbon footprint. We are initiating carbon reduction projects that involve adopting energy-efficient lighting in both our warehouses and offices to minimise energy consumption. In addition, we’re evaluating investing in an eco-friendly fleet of electric vehicles, reducing emissions associated with transportation.

Furthermore, we’re assessing the installation of solar panels on our warehouse roofs, making the most of sustainable power sources. These initiatives not only enhance our sustainability efforts but also contribute to a greener and more environmentally responsible operation, aligning with our dedication to preserving the planet for future generations.
